Adventures in Praha: November 2007

October 2007

October was the best month ever! We went to a couple of birthday parties, the zoo, and even had a Halloween party at our place. Laurence invited all her new friends and their parents, too. It was crazy having so many people over at the apartment but, in the end, it was totally worth it.

We enjoyed the last few remaining days of autumn and temporarily forgot about all the cold winter months ahead. The leaves on the trees here in Prague turned gold, red, yellow and orange and Laurence did her best to pick them all up for inspection:)

We hope that November brings more adventures for us all.

Beep, beep, here comes the mommy and daddy patrol. We met up with Gail, Jost and Atreyu and all of us took the bus to the city zoo.

Someone just woke up and is astonished to be back at the zoo. What she needs is a good rock collection.

That was fun! Now let's go see some guerillas.

As we entered the guerilla exhibit, we looked to our left and found a HUGE male silverback sitting up agaist the glass near the entrance just waiting to play with Laurence. She was excited at first but quickly became very nervous for some strange reason.

Whew, now that's a safer distance. Oh look, a mommy and baby guerilla.

We stopped by the petting zoo and said hello to our goat friends. Once again, Laurence loved them...at a distance. When daddy gave her some pellets to feed the goats she quickly dropped them for fear of having her little fingers chewed off.

Yep, even the cutest kid in the whole zoo was placed on her DO NOT TOUCH list.

Is it just me or does Laurence look like she's around 7-years old in this photo? Daddy's face with Mommy's skull...the poor thing.

Halloween parties call for a big spread. Too bad no one came with an appetite and Melinda, Laurence and I ended up eating everything ourselves over the next week.
