March 2008

Hi Guys and Gals,

I'm sitting here with daddy, posting this from the comforts of the living room chair on a rainy Spring day. We've looked over all the photos from last month and hope you enjoy them as much as we have.

Some of March's highlights include:

* Parks o' plenty
* Sugar cookies
* Easter and Meemaw fun!
* Half-marathon madness

Take care have a wonderful Spring. We're looking forward to Summer as much as you are and would love it if you all came out for a visit.

With love,

Lolo, Britt & Melinda
Woo-hoo, let's go to the park!! My weekend park circuit starts at Zofin, then I cross the river to Children's Island, next its on to Kampa Park, and finally ending at the "Secret Garden." Good times.
Mommy and daddy have been leaving the stroller home from time to time so that I can practice walking in public. I love walking, don't get me wrong, but the hand-holding thing is cramping my style!

Sandbox time at Kampa Park.
I'm confused, is there a sperm festival around here or not?
Mommy makes the best sugar cookies. They're best enjoyed while sitting on a pillow in the middle of the living room. Where's the milk?
The Easter Bunny stopped by while I was sleeping. Was it just coincidence that Meemaw came for a visit, too? I just love my Meemaw, she always brings me yummy Swiss chocolates and lots of celebrity magazines when she comes over.

We all woke up on Easter Sunday to the postman ringing our doorbell with a large package in his hands (apparently the post office delivers on Sunday, who knew?) from Nene and Popa Jerry. It was shortly afterwards that I noticed the Easter basket, Easter whip (a Czech tradition), candy, shoes, and even colored eggs hidden all over the apartment.
I just love my new pink Crocs that Nene and Popa Jerry sent me! Pink is my favorite color and the shoes are made of a cushy rubber that makes a fun squeaking sound when I walk in them. Who knew shoes could be so much fun?

It's potty-training time, and I find that reading Entertainment magazine helps things along.
Melinda = fresh, Britt = the opposite of fresh.
Maybe if I just close my eyes it'll all go away!!
All....most....there.
Is that the finish line I see? Finally!! We did it. Yes, we finished 21-minutes past our goal time but...there's always the Dresden half-marthon race in October. Look out sub-2 hours, we're gunning for you.
Cha-ching! Our race medal bling blinded a few people on the way home but hey, that's the price you pay when you're in the presence of greatness. The "10" on the medals refers to the 10th anniversary of the half-marathon race in Prague.
Nene and Popa Jerry sent me some summer clothes and I can't stop mixing and matching! Who's ready for a pool party?
