This is taken at Potsdamer Platz, an important city square/hub in Berlin that was bombed to oblivion during WWII, which--after the fall of the Berlin Wall--was transformed into a super-huge modern structure containing 30 cinema screens, lots of restaurants, offices, and a museum. It's freakin' huge.
